Some works that deserve to be noticed!

I think that sometimes we get a little involved in all that DA has to offer and we forget one of the main reasons we were all drawn here - namely the sharing of art!

None of us got where we are, or will get to our destinations without the support of the like-minded, creative minds of our fellow artists. We are all kindred spirits with a desire to expose that innermost being within us that simply screams create!

So I've been insanely busy working on a new novel, getting back into my photography and tweaking ideas on my manipulations. I've even taken time from being a therapist to delve deeper into my artistic endeavors which I feel is where my heart is these days. I'm happiest when I'm allowed to be creative. So, although it pains me, I am making my usual rounds but not making many comments. I love giving critiques and comments on work but am just so pressed for time. If I your work, it means it really struck a chord with me and I am going to try to get back to it and give a comment at a later date.

As always, if you would like my creative comments/critiques just send me a note and I will get to it asap!

   




I have begun working with a wonderful group of deviants over at ObscuredPhotos who all have a shared goal of digging Photo-Deviants out of the depths of obscurity and into the light!

Down the DrainIt was only a few days ago that she'd told me her tale.
I dismissed it as just being a story, as I'm sure many people would. I thought she was just trying to scare me. I guess you don't believe this kind of thing until you see it for yourself...
She looked so lost, sitting on my couch with a cup of tea in her hands, desperately clutching onto the drink as if she tried to warm her entire body with it.
'Are you sure you're okay?'
She had looked up at me with a tired smile. 'I just haven't been sleeping well, that's all.'
I took one look at her face and I knew she was lying.
'So...when are you going to tell me what's really going on?'
She stared at me for a little while, and in hindsight I saw what I desperately tried not to see back then.
So much fear in her eyes.
'I can't shower anymore.'
I looked at her and couldn't help laughing, though I swallowed it almost immediately when I saw the look on her face.
'What do you mean, you can't shower anymore?'
She looked down at her hands and told

So after I put up my poll I ran out and got my new 7D from the local camera store as a favor for some free writing I did for their catolog!
Now, I Canons but the 7D is AMAZING! It's almost as good as ....... notice I said ALMOST
